Eating like a Viking at Vikings

I knew it. I foresaw that I’m going to walk away from this “Eat like a Viking" thing like a relleno, belly bursting at the seams. And in all seriousness, the only thing this place is missing is a spot to keel over after eating and just wait for digestion to complete.

To appreciate Vikings, one has to remember not to compare it to say Sofitel Manila’s Spirals, which has 21 dining ateliers(!) nor Edsa Shangrila’s Circles, because it will definitely pale in comparison.

Why the hell is Nando’s Chicken PERi Peri still not in the Philippines? Gah! I’m all BonChon-ed out!

Peri Peri is an African bird’s eye chili of the extremely spicy variety. Chicken PERi PERi is where the freshest, never-frozen chicken would be butterfly-grilled in an open flame after being marinated overnight and regularly basted with the Nando’s PERi-PERi sauce, a concoction of herbs, spices, sun-ripened lemons and garlic. Drooling yet? I got to try them when I toured Kuala Lumpur.
